Too Much TV

Ahhh…!

So. We got HBO back in time for season 3 of Big Love, and by chance, we got it in time for an encore of the first season of True Blood, which we had wanted to see, but since it was a new show and we didn’t want to get HBO for it, we figured we’d miss out, and perhaps catch up later via Netflix or Amazon Unbox.

The catch? True Blood was replaying the 12 episode season every weeknight for two and a half weeks! Yipe. That’s a lot of TV for us.

Usually, we aren’t very much into ‘TV’. We have a Tivo (we were seriously early adopters); well, 2 Tivo’s actually. Because of that, we don’t ever channel-surf, and because we forward through commercials, we often miss advertisements for new shows.

Somehow, though, all of ou Ahhh…!

Somehow, though, all of our regular ‘shows’ started coming back on: Lost, Heroes (though if it doesn’t get better soon, I’m not watching any more), etc. We were so excited for Top Chef to start; now I’m just excited for it to be over so it’s not on my ‘to-watch’ list any longer. The Tivo keeps getting fuller, and we must keep up!

TV shouldn’t stress you out.

For one brief moment on Monday night, around 10:55; we were all caught up. Tivo started recording Big Love at 11:00.
